EMERGENCY COVER OUT OF HOURS

• Urgent Out of hours cover is provided by NHS 24. This service is provided by experienced nurses and local doctors working in co­operation with local ambulance and hospital services.

 

• Patients with an urgent problem out of hours are asked to telephone LOCHMABEN 01387 810252 or 01387 810215

 

•  In the event of a life threatening emergency Dial 999 and ask for ambulance.

When you telephone for help please have a pencil and paper available, and be ready to give the following information:

Your Telephone No. (Home, call box)

Name & address of patient

Name of patient’s own doctor

Where the patient is at the moment

Describe what is wrong with the patient

If possible , it always helps if the nurse can speak directly with the patient.
